Beginner's Chamber Music Camp at Bear Crossing is for people of all ages who would like to learn the primary skills of playing Chamber Music. Anyone with basic playing and counting skills is encouraged to apply.

  • The goal of this camp is to develop the following fundamental skills for playing with and accompanying other musicians:
    • - Listening: This will be achieved by playing various games, with and without instruments.
    • - Counting: This is a primary rhythmic skill that enables players to stay together as a unit. It is one of the most important skills for musicians of all kinds. Percussion instruments will be used to teach the subdivisions of the beat.
    • - Reacting: This will teach players how to react to, and interact with, other players to provide a solid sound.
  • We accept all ages of players. Basic playing and counting skills are required.
  • Our main goal is for all campers to have fun while learning to play music in a relaxing country environment!

Bear Crossing Music Camp is situated in the hills of Pennsylvania. A small creek flows next to our concert hall.

Tuition due by June 1, 2023.
