The Junior String Orchestra Camp, now celebrating its 18th year, gives a unique opportunity for students to experience group playing in a non-competitive atmosphere, while sharing other fun activities throughout the day.
The camp offers four days of music making and summer camp fun. Bear Crossing Music Camp is located in a quiet, countryside area, just outside New Ringgold. The budding string players will acquire musicianship skills that can make them better orchestra players. This camp gives them a unique mix of music making, outdoor activities, and lasting friendships.
- Collaborate with other string players.
- Follow the conductor.
- Develop listening skills.
- Learn basics of music reading notation.
- Rhythm, Coordination, and theory games.
- Outdoor games.

Open to all string students. All sheet music provided. Bring your own lunch (refrigeration available). Snacks provided.
$75 deposit required by June 1, 2019 (non-refundable). Final payment due no later than July 11, 2019. Refunds will not be issued after camp has started.
