Camps at Bear Crossing
At our music studio, in a beautiful country setting, we offer private instruction of violin, viola, cello and bass to people of all ages. We also coach chamber music, and have summer camps for all string players. We are professional, concert musicians and we strive to motivate our students to reach their highest potential.
Bear Crossing Music Studio, established in New Ringgold in 1995, offers weekly private lessons on all string instruments. Agnès and her husband Simon bring a variety of experiences to the young students, from lessons to recitals to group performances in the area. Agnès and Simon were trained in France and Switzerland, respectively, and they bring their European expertise to their students. They are both members of several ensembles and have performed internationally.
The Junior String Orchestra Camp, now celebrating its 16th year, gives a unique opportunity for local students to experience group playing in a non-competitive atmosphere, while sharing other fun activities throughout the day.

"Music is the universal language of mankind"
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it,
I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me"
